Sew Along K251 The Ranglan Shirt for children

In this sew along you can find visual instructions on how to put together this Kwik pattern from Simplicity.  It is an absolute beginner friendly pattern that takes about 3 to 4 hours to complete.

I have sewn my shirt in a scuba fabric that is thicker than jersey and a pleasure to sew.

About the pattern

I have measured the chest circumference of my son to make sure the size needed but unfortunately this pattern seems to run in the small size. the sleeves are short and also from the neck to the edge of the hem. although it is a simple fix to do in the pattern, I have already cut my fabric. 

I would make it again but a size bigger for sure and I will lengthen the pattern at the waist 2" where I find the lines to enlarge the pattern.
