Cascade Details

Who doesn't love a shirt with a hidden placket and a beautiful cascade as a cute little detail? Well, if you are one of those people who hates uniforms and enjoy standing up around your peers, You would love this shirt. 

I enjoy  making it with 3/4 sleeves because I like to have a closet that can be useful year round,  practically.

PATTER INFORMATION

• I love it and I would love to make it again.  This pattern has cool options like cascade of ties and long sleeves or 3/4 sleeves, You decided.
• I really need a full length mirror to match my clothes to my body shape, but after wearing the shirt, I realize that I better make some dart in the back so I don't hide my figure under that beautiful shirt.
• pattern is Butterick B6488 version A
• Fabric: is a shirting fabric bought in my last trip to Cartagena, Colombia. that fabric is amazing, it doesn't need much ironing and it is very breathable.

I think one of the reasons I enjoy this hiding placket is because buying buttons is quite a job to find the special ones, also in this case buttons are not main character of the shirt and having a hidden placket  is definitely more elegant.

Pattern Review

I love it and I want to make some more of them for my husband as soon as I have more time to sit down in my sewing machine, I love giving him gifts that I can make with my hands and the best of it, is that he goes around so happy and proud telling everyone that I made the shirt for him.   😇😇

• His shirt is made in a light weight denim and actually it keeps him very warm now in the winter season of Georgia.  
• I didn't have to make any changes in the pattern to make him fit perfectly, so I love it.
• It does have a good length for those guys that enjoy wearing the shirt out of the pants.
• It has enough easy for him to move around comfortably.
• would I recommend this?:  Yes, indeed!
• would I make this pattern again?: yes, I just need the time.

Flannel shirt

The pattern is something I will do over and over, it is a Plus size so I made one size smaller of mine.  There were no complications, it was an ease and amazing pattern.

El patrón es algo que yo haría muchísimas veces más, no hubo complicaciones y fue muy fácil de hacer.

I definitely enjoy wearing it as a soft light cover top!

Esta es una de las diferentes formas que la usare y mi favorita!
